A unique blend of two parcels of organic merlot grapes - one from our Binbilla vineyard, planted in the year 2000 and the other from our original Old Block plantings, from as far back as 1996. The blend comes from two consecutive vintages and combines the aged character of the 2022 merlot (stored in French barriques for 2 years), with the freshness of the 2023 vintage. An inky character with primary fruit flavours of black plums and a hint of tobacco, this mercurial, medium-bodied merlot will surprise and delight. Drink now with your favourite barbecued fare.
